After one session at HEC Montréal, marked by an award of great distinction due to his excellent academic results, Étienne tried his luck at The HEC Montreal Student Investment Fund. Former elite hockey player, he joined the group with a great team and competition spirit as an analyst for the Metals and Mining sector. After only one semester passed in this organization, he got promoted to the title of Portfolio Manager – Industrials.
In the winter of 2017, he completed a student exchange at Singapore where he studied at the Singapore Management University. After four months passed in Asia, he returned to Montreal to complete a first internship at La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec with the Operations – Public Market team. During his university studies, he obtained two scholarships: Passeport pour le monde – Excellence and Passeport pour le monde – Fondation HEC Montréal.
Étienne is a sports’ enthusiast. He practices hockey, tennis, hiking and training. He also completed his scuba diving certification (PADI Open Water) in winter 2017.
He plans to complete his bilingual Bachelor in administration with a major in finance in the spring of 2019.
