Yannick was born and raised in Drummondville. He then moved to Montreal to attend the International baccalaureate program in Health sciences at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, where he was involved on multiple fronts. He will graduate from HEC Montréal in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in finance.
His keen interest in finance has been sparked as soon as he joined the FPHEC as an equity analyst for the energy sector. The year after, he was elected Vice President and Portfolio Manager of the FIG sector. He also received the Fonds Claire et Éric Morisset merit-based scholarship for his involvement in the FPHEC. He participated in both the HEC Campus Abroad in Switzerland in May 2013 and the International Exchange Program at the National University of Singapore in winter 2014.
Yannick interned at GE Capital in the Financial Planning and Analysis team as part of the Financial Management Program during the summer of 2014. In July 2015, Yannick will be joining UBS Securities in Toronto as a full-time investment banking analyst and will take the CFA level 1 during the summer of 2014.
